The new practical motorcycle test is being introduced from 29 September 2008* to comply with European Legislation.
The new test involves an extra off-road element where riders will have to ride around a specially designed course. Riders will complete various manouvering and braking exerices around the course, some of which, riders will be expected to complete reaching speeds higher than 30mph. Due to the new off-road element of the test the nearest test center will be moving. From 29 September 2008 test will be taken in Lincoln and not Grimsby.
* The new motorcycle test has now been defered until 30 March 2009.
